This page explains how to delete your Vedapath account and what happens to your data when you do. Vedapath is operated by Vedapath Design Engineering Private Limited (CIN: U58111HR2026PTC145918), Gurugram, India. For the full picture, see our Privacy Policy.
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the Vedapath app:
Deletion takes effect immediately. Your account cannot be recovered, there is no waiting period, and you can sign up again at any time.
You can also delete your account from any browser:
As in the app, deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
If you can no longer access the app, you can ask us to delete your account by email:
We will confirm by email once your account has been deleted. We act on verified requests without undue delay, normally within 30 days. We may ask for additional information if we cannot otherwise verify that the request comes from the account holder.
Permanently deleted. We permanently delete your profile (name, email, profile photo, notification token and notification preferences) and your sign-in identity. For Sign in with Apple users, we also revoke your Apple token through Apple's REST API. This cannot be undone, and your account cannot be restored.
Kept in de-identified form. The activity and content you created is disconnected from your identity, re-keyed to a single random identifier, and retained to help us understand usage and improve the service and our AI models. We do not keep a mapping from that identifier back to you. This includes:
Because the text you originally typed is retained, we describe this honestly as strong de-identification, not guaranteed-irreversible anonymisation. We do not claim this residual data can never be linked back to a person. We may also keep limited information where the law requires it (for example, for legal, tax, accounting, security or fraud-prevention reasons), and we may keep de-identified and aggregated data indefinitely. If you also want us to fully erase the residual de-identified data linked to your past activity, email privacy@vedapath.app from your account email. Please do this before you delete your account: once your identity has been removed, we may no longer be able to locate that data in order to erase it. We will verify your identity and act without undue delay, normally within 30 days.
